Electric mobility technology company, Zeekr, has unveiled its plans to bring its innovative, high-end EVs to Europe. This move signifies a critical juncture in the company’s aggressive global expansion strategy.
Zeekr will introduce its flagship Zeekr 001 luxury shooting brake — promising a pure-electric range of more than 370 miles — and the Zeekr X urban SUV as the first offerings for Europe. Both models are expected to debut in Sweden and the Netherlands by the end of 2023, with other countries and models to follow soon.
Built on its EV-focused SEA platform, both the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X promise a combination of design, technology, driving dynamics, performance and safety for European customers, along with long-distance capabilities and fast charging.
Zeekr vehicles are designed with a human-centric approach, ensuring that every aspect of the car is meticulously crafted to elevate and enrich the driving experience. Simultaneously, advanced connectivity features like over-the-air software updates allow the vehicles to adapt to changing consumer needs over time.
The development of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X took place at Zeekr’s Global Design and R&D centres in Gothenburg, Sweden, with these objectives in mind from the outset. Zeekr’s European team, comprising over 1,500 engineers and designers, is already well-established and has successfully created several models for the Geely Group
. This wealth of experience gives Zeekr a competitive edge as it enters the European market.

Zeekr’s European Headquarters will be located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and will be home to a leadership team who have held senior roles at other premium and luxury vehicle manufacturers.
