The first full trailer for Christopher Nolan’s new film Interstellar has finally arrived. Like every one of Nolan’s other films, very little is given away in the trailers and he’s notoriously very secretive. Interstellar is no different.
We already knew that the film was based around grand notions of time travel and alternative dimensions and the conspicuous dropping of ‘Murphy’s Law’ throughout the trailer gives us no reason to think that alternative dimensions won’t play a huge part in the film.
The Matthew McConaughey renaissance shows no signs of letting up and it looks like he’s in top form if the trailer is anything to go by. Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine are also on board.
From the trailer, it looks as though Earth is coming to the end of it’s life and food resources are at a premium. Mankind must find somewhere new to call home or else face extinction. Come on down, Matthew McConaughey.
It almost feels as if the trailer gives us the prologue to the film without getting to the gritty stuff. It’s got our anticipation at fever pitch, though. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.
Interstellar opens in the UK on 7th November 2014, most of which was filmed in Iceland, and you can check our film guide to Iceland, here.
