What is the Eufy S2 Pro Wearable Breast Pump?

The Eufy S2 Pro Wearable Breast Pump – or S2 Pro for short – combines advanced technology with thoughtful design for breastfeeding mothers, to deliver a pumping experience that takes it to another level. The S2 Pro breast pumps are designed to be easy to wear while you’re using them, have built-in heating and massage functions for a more comfortable user experience, and connect to an app for customisation and control.

The S2 Pro, contained in a very stylish and neat rechargeable carry case, has great battery life. During testing, the charging case only needed to be topped up about once a week. Make plugging it in part of the weekly routine, and the S2 Pro will be ready whenever it’s needed.

One of the standout features of the S2 Pro is the level of customisation that is available via the pumps and the app. There is a range of silicone insert sizes and a size guide card to ensure the right one is selected for the most comfortable and effective fit. Once it’s fitted comfortably, massage and heat settings can be selected either using the buttons on each pump or via the app. These settings can then be stored, so there’s no need to set them up each time.

Not only is the S2 Pro highly wearable, with a bra that has enough stretch to accommodate it, but it’s also very quiet. Using a breast pump around other people can make you very self-conscious, but the S2 Pro overcomes that issue, producing just a faint hum.

What’s the S2 Pro Breast Pump like to use?

While I can tell you about all of the technical points of the S2 Pro, I handed it to our resident new mum Average Jane to fully test it. Here are her thoughts on using it.

“I wasn’t looking forward to the prospect of using a breast pump, as I’d heard a few stories from friends about how uncomfortable and difficult they can be to get along with, but the Eufy S2 Pro didn’t look so intimidating, right from the off.

With no wires or tubes to contend with, the time from initial setup to first use was just a matter of minutes. The app was pretty easy to navigate for the basics, and over the next few uses, I kept finding different things each time. The app is excellent for tracking milk flow, pumping activity, and baby feeds if you choose to use it to its full potential.

The S2 Pro pumps themselves really are comfortable to wear and use, staying in the right position even while I’m pottering around the house as the baby sleeps. I like that there’s a gauge to show just how much I’m expressing each time, and the heat and massage settings are brilliant. I’ve had no problems with painful blocked milk ducts, and I think that the heated massage has helped me avoid that particular issue.

I was initially concerned by how complicated it looked to clean, but it’s actually really simple. There are just 6 parts to wash and sterilise, and they click back together easily, ready for the next use.

For me, it works really well. I love how quiet it is and that it doesn’t restrict me from doing things while I’m using it. If you’re going to be expressing a lot, this is most definitely a worthwhile investment.”

Eufy S2 Pro Breast Pump: The verdict

Expressing breast milk can be a real chore, but the S2 Pro makes it a much easier prospect. Once in place and quietly pumping, it’s hands-free and relatively unobtrusive. The heating and massage settings relieve any discomfort and make the process quick and, according to Eufy’s own lab testing, up to 35% more productive, although we haven’t tested alongside a rival product to verify that.

There really aren’t many downsides to the Eufy S2 Pro Wearable Breast Pump. It does exactly what you need it to consistently, has good battery life and does it all while giving a soothing, warm breast massage. It does come with a fairly hefty price tag, but when comparing it to rivalsExternal link with similar features, it is competitively priced.

The Eufy S2 Pro goes above and beyond the simple act of expressing milk. It’s comfortable, impressively quiet and genuinely convenient to use around the home. While the premium price may put some parents off, those planning to express regularly will likely find its smart features, heating technology and excellent battery life worth the investment.
