Finding that perfect gift can be a challenge, particularly at Christmas. A perfume or aftershave can be an excellent choice, after all, who doesn’t love to smell good? Floral or fruity, spicy or sensual, we’ve tried some perfume presents that we think will add a sensational spritz to the festive giving season.
D&G K Intense Eau de Parfum men’s aftershave spray
£46 for 100ml
This men’s fragrance from Dolce & Gabbana is a wonderfully refined scent that will make a perfect gift this Christmas. It’s an intriguing combination of leather notes with hints of citrus, figs and spices. The result is a masculine scent that is light and well-balanced. Some woody notes creep in, but without making it overwhelmingly musky.

A nice, affordable fragrance that works as an everyday choice, or for that special occasion. It is pretty intense, though, as the name suggests, so just a spray or two will be all that’s needed for a long-lasting effect.
Happy Paul Bright Spice
£45 for 50ml
Happy Paul’s Bright Spice Eau de Parfum is designed to lift your mood with every spritz. Bright Spice combines citrus notes with gentle herbs and just a little spice to create a light, vibrant fragrance.

Happy Paul skillfully blends florals, warm spices and musky hints to add depth and character to this all-encompassing fragrance. The thoughtful addition of a little citrine crystal to each bottle, to bring a little extra joy and happiness if that’s your thing, is a lovely touch and makes it a great Christmas gift.

Stories Parfums
From £45
Stories Parfums is Northern Ireland’s first luxury, niche perfume house, founded by Tonya Kidd-Beggs. With an established background in the beauty and fragrance industry, Kidd-Beggs sought to create fragrances that captivate the heart and mind, and connect the past, present, and future through the familiarity of scents.
There are currently two fragrance variants: No.01 and No.02. 01 is a lively, fresh scent, with citrus and bergamot coming through initially. Jasmine and sandalwood are evident, too, leaving a gentle fragrance with just a hint of sweetness.

No.02 has a more spice-laden fragrance, with cardamom and ginger giving way to the sweeter notes of sandalwood and vanilla, and just a little hint of sweet tobacco and honey.
Sustainability is an integral part of the philosophy at Stories Parfums, for which the company has won several awards. All of the glass perfume bottles can be returned to be refilled, and all packaging and labels across the range (which includes candles, lotions and body washes) are fully recyclable.
If you’re looking for a fragrance-based stocking fillers or perfume presents, Stories Parfum will have something to fit the bill and the budget.
Seasonal Scents Subscription Box
The Perfume Society
From £21
If someone on your Christmas gift list loves to try new perfumes and scents, then a subscription box from the perfume society might be the best thing they’ll unwrap this festive season.
Having a signature scent is all very well, but sometimes you want to try something just a little different. Whether you’re coordinating for a different mood, event, or season, a Seasonal Scents Subscription offers samplers of a variety of fragrances which have been carefully selected for each box.

Boxes are released every season, at roughly 3-month intervals, and contain a selection of sample-sized perfumes. A QR code directs you to online scent notes and an unboxing video featuring head fragrance writer Suzy Nightingale, who guides the viewer through each scent in the box. There are also helpful hints and tips on how to make the most of the fragrances.
Seasonal Scents Subscription boxes make great perfume presents for scent lovers of any age, giving them the opportunity to try something different without the heavy investment in a full-sized bottle.
