There was an idea to bring together a group of Lego bricks to see if they could become something more, and today, the mighty Danish brick producer has revealed just how much more they became, with the release of its biggest Marvel-based building kit to date — the Lego Marvel Avengers Tower.

It was back in 1963 when the world caught its first glimpse of these now iconic superheroes, nestled within the pages of the inaugural edition of The Avengers comic book, and they have been enthralling us ever since, both in print and on screen. This year is the 60th anniversary of The Avengers, and Marvel fans can celebrate in style, thanks to the unveiling of this epic Avengers Tower Lego kit.

The kit is made up of 5,201 pieces and is the tallest Lego brick-built skyscraper ever made for public release. Along with the tower comes 31 Lego figures, the most ever included in one Lego set, including all the iconic characters from Infinity Saga, as well as a Leviathan, the Quinjet and two Chitauri flyers. There’s even an exclusive Lego minifigure of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

Once fully constructed, the tower stands 90cm tall, and on every floor, a different action scene develops. Marvel fans will be able to interact with the memorable scenes they love, with an all-star cast of their favourite characters, as well as a few villains, at their fingertips.

The Lego Marvel Avengers Tower will be available in Lego stores or from its website from 24 November 2023, priced at £430, so make sure it’s firmly at the top of your Christmas list. There’s a bonus available for Lego Insiders members — between 24–27 November, members can claim a free Lego Marvel Taxi set, which includes an iconic New York yellow taxi and four minifigures including Black Panther, a taxi driver and two outriders when they purchase the Lego Marvel Avengers Tower.
