Eden Berlin has emerged this year as one of the more distinctive names in alternative modelling and performance.
Hailing from Hesse, Germany, she has quickly built a reputation that blends vintage-inspired style with a more contemporary, provocative edge. Working across both modelling and live performance, Eden sits comfortably at the intersection of classic burlesque and modern alternative culture, drawing on both traditions to shape her own identity.

Her modelling work has gained international attention through appearances in Marquis
magazine, a publication famous for its focus on fetish and alternative fashion. Across several shoots, Eden has become closely associated with the magazine’s aesthetic, combining corsetry, latex and retro styling with a confident, composed presence in front of the camera. The result is a body of work that comes across as both stylised and self-assured, in line with the direction of the wider alternative fashion scene.
Away from still photography, she has also established herself on stage as a burlesque performer. Her shows lean into theatricality, with expertly made costumes, strong visual themes and a clear sense of character. It’s a performance style that places as much emphasis on presentation as it does on performance, helping her stand out in a growing European burlesque circuit.

While still early in her career, 2009 is already shaping up to be a significant year. With increasing visibility in both print and live performance, Eden Berlin is building a profile that suggests there is more to come as she continues to develop her work.
