Pop princess turned lingerie peddler Britney Spears has decided to strip things back — literally — with the launch of her new underwear line, The Intimate Britney Spears. And true to form, she’s not just designing the lacy little numbers, she’s wearing them too.

We’re not sure if it’s meant to empower women or distract men, but either way, it’s working.

Unveiled at New York Fashion Week, the range features everything from lacy bras and matching knickers to corsets, kimonos, bodysuits, and the kind of barely-there loungewear that makes it very hard to concentrate on anything else. If you’ve ever wanted to see Britney posing in some very skimpy lingerie (and let’s face it, who hasn’t?), the campaign photos deliver in spades.

Britney says she wanted to create something “sexy, luxurious and comfortable,” and credit where it’s due, she’s managed to tick all three boxes. The line is made in partnership with Change Lingerie, who’ve thrown their Danish know-how into the mix, ensuring a proper fit for real women, not just pop stars with personal trainers and spray tans. The bras are available in sizes A to J cup, which means there’s a fair chance your partner might actually find something that fits and looks good.

Prices are expected to start from around £20, rising to £60, so you won’t need a Vegas residency to afford it. And unlike your usual celeb tat, this stuff looks the business — lace trim, satin ribbons, crochet details, and enough sheer material to keep things interesting without crossing too far into Ann Summers territory.
