This one is for the true premium gin lovers. Whether you’re giving it as a gift this Valentine’s Day or sharing it with a loved one, Aureus Vita gin is said to be the biggest innovation in gin distilling in centuries.
Master distiller John Hall was inspired by the ‘golden ratio’ – a mathematical ratio that is found in nature and is often used in art and architecture to keep things balanced and looking aesthetically pleasing – when he began creating this gin.
His desire to make the best possible gin led him to create the Fibonacci-Hall method of distilling, using a unique still to ensure the gin is perfectly balanced every time.
The result is a magnificently decadent, luxurious gin which is beautifully smooth, with an endlessly silky mouthfeel. It blends zesty citrus with spicy coriander, mellowing into a floral note that leads to subtle minerality, drawing you back in for another sip.
Garavogue Single Malt Irish Whiskey

This 20-year-old Irish whiskey is the inaugural release from Hawk’s Rock distillery in Sligo. Crafted by Helen Mulholland, the female master blender in Irish whiskey history, it’s an exceptional tipple to share with a loved one this Valentine’s Day.
Garavogue has been aged for at least 14 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks, before being transferred into a variety of different casks for a further 6 years for maturation. These include French Muscat, French Sauternes, Spanish Pedro Ximénez Sherry and Barbadian Rum casks, with each one adding layers of flavours, from fruit to spices.
The whiskey is double-distilled and bottled at 47% ABV. On the nose, there are warm peaches and vanilla, with a floral sweetness coming forward. On the palate, buttery brioche meets orchard fruits with notes of coffee and citrus, before running down to a long, fruity finish, with warmth and hints of sweetness to the very end.
Dutch Barn Black Cherry Vodka

Cheeky Cherry Cola
This flavour-filled serve is a fun, nostalgic tipple that’ll be a firm favourite. All you need is:
40ml Dutch Barn Black Cherry Vodka
15ml Amaretto
1 squeeze of lime
Ice
Method:
Pour the vodka and amaretto over ice, squeeze in the lime, top with cola and stir. If you’re going all out to impress, garnish with Maraschino cherries or a lime wedge before serving.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años

This classic Cuban rum is the perfect base for a cocktail this Valentine’s Day. We’d recommend Havana Club’s Daiquiri, with sweetness and just a little spice to make your evening really sing.
The recipe:
1 tablespoon of White Sugar or 20ml Sugar Syrup
25ml Fresh Lime Juice
50ml Havana Club Añejo 7 Años
3 Ice Cubes
The method:
Put the sugar in the cocktail shaker and squeeze in the lime juice
Add the Havana Club and ice cubes
Shake well for about 30 seconds
Strain into a cocktail glass and enjoy.
Pantalones Tequila Blanco

Making and sharing the best Margaritas is a recipe for love. Just ask Pantalones Tequila founders Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camilla, as it seems to have worked for them. The couple founded the brand in 2023, and the premium, organic Tequila has recently launched in the UK.
It’s made from 100% blue weber agave, grown by fourth-generation agave farmers whose family have been farming the 7,000-acre farm in Mexico since the 1920’s, and distilling Tequila for two generations, too.
Pantalones Bianco Tequila is great to sip, shot or mix to make the perfect margarita for your Valentine’s drinks. The sweet notes of honey and caramel blend with the cooked agave flavour. Hints of vanilla and citrus zest complement the spicy pepper, rounding things out nicely.
