Mattel and Hot Wheels have added two much-loved Honda models to their Mattel Brick Shop buildable car range, with new sets based on the Honda Civic EF and the Honda S2000.

The new releases expand the Hot Wheels Speed Series with 1:32-scale collector builds aimed squarely at adult fans and car enthusiasts, rather than kids’ toys. Both models are designed to celebrate Japanese performance cars and tuning culture, with a focus on detail and customisation.

The Custom ’90 Honda Civic EF leans heavily into classic ’90s tuning vibes, complete with opening doors, detailed headlights and windows, plus interchangeable wheel covers and a custom decal sheet. The ’07 Honda S2000, meanwhile, recreates Honda’s high-revving roadster with accurate proportions, an authentic windshield and spoiler, and the same customisation options.

Each set also includes an exclusive matching 1:64-scale die-cast Hot Wheels car, along with a small Hot Wheels metal display plate — a nice touch for anyone planning to put these straight on a shelf rather than the playroom floor.

Both Honda sets are priced at £21.99 and will be available in the UK from retailers including Amazon, Smyths and The Entertainer. Like the rest of the Mattel Brick Shop range, they’re designed to be relatively stress-free to build, using smooth resin bricks with clear instructions.

For fans of Japanese performance cars (or anyone who grew up obsessing over Civics and S2000s), they’re a neat way to add something a little different to a desk or display cabinet.
