Now, I am not a big fan of scooters, and to be fair, I am not a big fan of Minis, so for me, this is hard to write. However, many of you are fans of one or both, and for you, your dreams may have just come true. Welcome the Mini E Scooter Concept, a plug-in electric scooter concept.

Think of a true Mini but smaller; you have chrome everywhere, along with the trademark giant speedometer, oval wing mirrors and squared-off rear lights. Power is a single electric motor that goes directly to the rear wheel with a small lithium-ion battery under the seat. Any standard three-pin power outlet can charge the scooter via the retractable cable.
The Scooter E Concept is the first mobility concept to bring sustainability and lifestyle into harmony, says Mini, describing the scooter as a fascinating entry into the world of the Mini brand.
There are three interpretations of the Mini Scooter E Concept: two of which will be shown at the Paris Motor Show next week, while the third concept, inspired by the swinging sixties, the heyday of classic Mini, is being shown exclusively in London.
The colour design of the two-seater version is based on the appearance of the Mini E, which strikingly highlights its emission-free drive concept. The livery designed in matt anthracite creates a contrast with the seat finished in yellow. The iridescent colour of the windshield around the headlight unit and the yellow mirror caps provide further accentuating features. The surface of the seat is made of tough fabric material, with a yellow strip bordering the lower part of the seat.
