You probably know the sort of thing we like by now. Anything a little different. Anything beautifully made. And anything that puts craftsmanship ahead of mass production. That’s exactly what Donhou Custom Bicycles is all about.

Built by Thomas Donhou in his small workshop in Norwich, every Donhou bicycle is made entirely by hand. Since launching the business around 18 months ago, Thomas has quietly built a reputation for producing some of Britain’s most distinctive custom bicycles.

He’s also the company’s only employee – and that’s exactly how he likes it.

Rather than chasing volume, Donhou produces around 25 bicycles each year, allowing every frame to be built from scratch. Tubes are selected, cut, shaped and welded by hand before each bike is finished to the customer’s exact specification.

The frame is only part of the story, too.

Customers choose the components that complete the bike, with guidance on everything from groupsets and wheels to finishing kit, creating a machine that’s as individual as the person riding it.

Donhou Custom Bicycles

Whether you’re after a beautifully balanced road bike, a minimalist fixed gear or a unique commuter, every Donhou bicycle is built with the same attention to detail.

In a world of increasingly mass-produced products, it’s refreshing to see traditional craftsmanship still thriving.
