Flash Responsibly: Diesel and DC Comics Super Heroes Collection Arrives

We’ve never made a secret of our soft spot for comics or the caped and masked icons that fill them, so this latest collaboration instantly caught our eye. Diesel has teamed up with Warner Bros and DC Comics to launch a limited-edition run of Diesel Super Heroes boxers, bringing a designer twist to some very familiar names.

Diesel has taken inspiration from four well-known characters from the DC universe: Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and The Joker.

The designs steer well clear of loud, comic-book artwork. Instead of bold illustrations and oversized character prints, Diesel has opted for something far more restrained. Expect subtle graphics, muted colours, and clever variations on the Diesel logo, each paired with a stylised superhero badge. It’s a surprisingly understated approach that feels more “designer label” than novelty merchandise.

If we’re being completely honest, we’re slightly on the fence. They’re undeniably cool and a bit different, but they’re unlikely to tempt anyone outside of the more dedicated comic crowd. This feels like a collection aimed squarely at enthusiasts rather than everyday high-street shoppers.

As for favourites, The Joker takes the win for us — villain status aside, the design simply has more character. The others? Probably destined for fellow geeks and collectors.

The Super Heroes range is available now via Diesel. With Christmas creeping closer, they might just serve as a suitably nerdy gift hint.
