Father’s Day Gift Guide 2021

It’s that time of year again. June is the time to celebrate the Dads in our lives. We’ve put together a list of our favourite gifts that we think any Dad would be chuffed to receive for Father’s Day.

Just because you’re a dad doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still look good. Now that we’re starting to travel around the country and actually go out, new threads are even more important. Lyle & Scott has a huge collection of great-looking clothes for both casual and more formal occasions. We’ve picked the Denim Overshirt (£80) and Navy Polo Shirt (£50), along with the Barrel Bag (£55) for those weekends away.

Whisky: J&B Rare and The Glenlivet 12

This one is fairly obvious. Every man should have a good tipple in the cupboard, and this year we’re looking at Whisky as the one to go for. We’ve raided the Average Joes booze cabinet and picked out these two. If your budget is tighter but you want to get something very drinkable, the J&B Rare blended whisky (£19) is a great choice. At under £20 on Amazon, it’s excellent value and comes from a well-known brand. The Glenlivet 12 (£38) is a fine single malt, aged for 12 years. It costs a bit more, but it’s well worth it for a smooth and distinctive taste.

No matter how old you are, looking after your skin is important. Looking good is important too, and that’s why we’ve gone with the range of products from Bulldog. We’re not picking any one product as everything we’ve tested has been great. They offer skincare, grooming products, shampoos, and much more, all made specifically for men.

Lynx Car Air Fresheners

Send your dad back to the 90s every time he drives his car with a Lynx air freshener for just £2.50. We’re rocking a bit of Africa in our Audi E-Tron long-termer, and it takes our Editor right back to his teenage years every time he gets behind the wheel.

In our recent review, we declared the £29 Apple Airtag as a no-brainer purchase for anyone with an iPhone. Therefore, if your Dad has an iPhone, it’s a no-brainer purchase for Father’s Day too. He’ll never lose his keys again.

Anatome offers a wide range of products from wellness supplements to candles and even bath salts. We recently tried the Anatome Muscle Ease + Skin Restoring Bath Salts, their Recovery + Sleep Candle and their Focus + Concentration Essential Oil. All seemed to have a high degree of quality and smelled great. We loved the retro feel of the labels and design. Our editor has even stolen the essential oil to use in his home diffuser.

Now that your Dad won’t lose his keys thanks to his new AirTag, he needs a better way of transporting them. Yes, a keyring works, but it’s hardly stylish. We might all be glued to our screens, but most Dads like to read something printed on paper.
