The new Samsung TL320 is due to be released in May and is trying to go a step further than your usual point-and-shoot digital camera.

The Samsung TL320 features a Schneider 24mm ultra-wide angle focal length lens paired with a powerful 5x optical zoom. There is also a three-inch, 460,000-dot HVGA AMOLED screen, which consumes less power and offers a higher contrast ratio of 10,000:1, compared to a standard display.

You will find 720p high-definition video recording and HDMI connectivity through the use of a cradle for high-definition viewing on your HDTV. The camera’s 5x optical zoom can be used while recording video and uses the latest H.264 video codec.

We’ll also see the standard Face Detection, Blink Detection, Smile Shot, and Beauty Shot technologies, designed to help capture better portraits and group shots of family and friends.

One standout feature of the Samsung TL320 is its sleek, brushed stainless steel finish, which adds a premium feel and enhanced durability, perfect for on-the-go shooting. Additionally, the TL320’s innovative dual image stabilization promises to minimise blurring from hand movement, resulting in crisper, more precise shots every time.
