In a bold new move, Vauxhall has announced that all new cars sold from 1st August 2010 will come with a lifetime warranty.
The warranty covers every model in the Vauxhall line-up
and applies to the first owner for however long they own the car, or up to 100,000 miles. It’s a strong statement from the brand, following in the footsteps of Kia’s 7-year warranty, which has helped transform the Korean manufacturer’s reputation in the UK.
The Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty includes major components such as the powertrain, steering system, braking system, and electrical equipment. Owners will also receive a free annual inspection, which must be maintained to stay eligible for the cover.
Now, Vauxhall might not have the flashiest range on the road, but with models like the Corsa VXR, Astra VXR, Insignia VXR, and the mighty VXR8, you could do a lot worse than having one of these in your driveway — especially with peace of mind that lasts a lifetime.
